Guide

Follow these steps in order. Most people are done in ~15–25 minutes.

Tip: Use a PC/Mac for initial installs (Stremio prompts are easiest there).

0) Basics (device + account)

Make sure Stremio is installed and you can sign in.

  • Install Stremio on your TV box / device and sign in
  • Roku is not supported

Recommended TV boxes (least → most expensive)

  • Walmart ONN 4K Plus / Pro
  • Google Streamer
  • Apple TV 4K

1) Debrid service (recommended)

Stremio is free — debrid makes streams fast and reliable.

2) Collect API keys

You’ll paste these into AIOMetadata + AIOStreams.

3) Configure AIOStreams

Import Tam’s template, enter Torbox + TMDB keys, save, install.

  1. Open AIOStreams configure (top of this page).
  2. Info tab → enable Advanced
  3. Save tab → Import → Import Template

  1. Load “Complete SEL Setup” template
  2. Select Torbox → paste Torbox API key + TMDB API key + TMDB access token
  3. (Optional) Add “Torbox Search” from Marketplace; set timeout to 7500
  4. Save tab → set a password → Create → write down your UUID
  5. Install to Stremio (desktop app easiest)

4) Configure AIOMetadata

Import Tam’s JSON, paste keys, test, save, install.

  1. Download a Tam AIOMetadata JSON from Tam’s SEL repo.
  2. Open AIOMetadata configure (top of this page).
  3. Configuration tab → Import configuration → choose the JSON you downloaded
  4. Integrations tab → paste API keys
  5. For RPDB use: t0-free-rpdb
  6. Test All Keys → confirm green checks
  7. Save configuration → write down UUID → Install to Stremio

5) Remove Cinemata (Cinebye)

Lets AIOMetadata control catalogs/metadata cleanly.

  1. Open cinebye.dinsden.top
  2. Sign in with your Stremio credentials
  3. Check all 3 options to remove Cinemata
  4. Manage Addons order: AIOMetadata just below Cinemata; AIOStreams below AIOMetadata
  5. Sync Addons → Sync to Stremio

6) Subtitles (optional)

You can keep defaults or add more.

Recommended: Subhero
No harm having multiple subtitle add-ons — keep what you like.

✅ Done. If you ever need to tweak things, open Stremio on a PC → Add-ons → Configure.

AIOStreams: saving is usually enough (no reinstall). AIOMetadata: catalog changes may require delete + reinstall.
